According to Associated Press, Michael Jackson - "The Beer Hunter", a leading world beer critic, has died at 65. His body was found in his apartment in west London last Thursday (August 30, 2007) He suffered Parkinson's, but continued being active and traveled a lot.

He was the most famous beer writer. He wrote about beer, breweries and beer traditions. He openly favored Belgian beer as one of the best in the world. He characterized and classified beer by types, countries, flavors, styles and traditions.  He was a writer for magazines, newspapers. He wrote books on beer and beer traditions.
